Rendezvous 2024-25
DPS Tapi conducted "Rendezvous," a unique learning experience for parents of Nursery and Prep students on July 16 and 18 2024, respectively. Parents spent a day immersing themselves in the teaching and learning environment of the classroom. The event featured engaging activities designed to enhance various skills. Nursery and Prep students participated in interactive sessions with their teachers, focusing on educational themes.
In Nursery, activities included practicing Swar, recalling and sand-tracing letters through "Listening and Writing," and playing a phonetic awareness game to identify letters corresponding to sounds. They also engaged in math and creativity with "Ammo ki Mala," creating patterns with beads and participated in an iPad session to distinguish between shapes and sizes.
Prep students enjoyed a diverse range of activities aimed at enriching their learning. They practiced counting and coordination with activities like "Listen to Clap" and building towers of 10 using blocks. A yoga session introduced different asanas, promoting physical fitness and mindfulness. An integrated iPad class reinforced early literacy skills with CVC words and musical sessions on the keyboard further enriched their learning. Students also expanded their vocabulary through a Flip Flop Book activity and explored creativity with a boat craft in an art session.
Rendezvous at DPS Tapi provided a comprehensive learning experience through hands-on activities that fostered students' academic, physical, and creative development.
