A Visit to Gurudwara
Class IV enjoyed an experiential learning excursion to Gurdwara Sri Guru Ramdas Ji on 30 July 2024. This enriching visit aimed to foster cultural awareness and understanding by introducing young learners to different types of religious places, their practices and the significance of the specific Gurdwara they visited.
Upon arrival, the students were warmly welcomed by the Gurdwara staff, who created a friendly and inviting atmosphere. The staff briefly introduced the significance of their Gurdwara, setting the stage for an informative and enjoyable experience.
During the visit, the students had the chance to observe various religious practices. They witnessed the recitation of prayers and hymns, gaining insights into the spiritual ambience of the Gurdwara. Additionally, the children were offered Kadha Prasad as part of their visit.
The Gurudwara trip was a resounding success in achieving its educational objectives. The students not only expanded their cultural knowledge but also gained insights into the values of respect, unity, and compassion.
