Swachhata Pakhwada
Swachhata Pakhwada, a government initiative, aims to promote cleanliness and hygiene across the country. DPS Tapi has enthusiastically participated in the campaign from 01 September 2024 to 15 September 2024, organizing a variety of activities such as cleanliness drives, awareness sessions, competitions, and creative writing. Students, staff, and the community were all involved in spreading the message of cleanliness. The event began with a Swachhata Pledge ceremony. All students and staff gathered to pledge their commitment to maintaining cleanliness at school, home, and in the community. The pledge reinforced the importance of cleanliness as a shared responsibility. A painting competition on the theme of cleanliness and environment protection was held. Students from various class IV showcased their creativity, with colourful posters depicting ways to keep our environment clean. The competition not only boosted creativity but also raised awareness of key environmental issues such as waste segregation, water conservation, and pollution control. As part of the creative writing activities, students of class III participated in an ‘Acrostic Poem Writing’ competition on the word “Save Water”. This activity helped the students reflect on the deeper meanings of cleanliness and its impact on their lives. The Swachhata Pakhwada at our school culminated in a grand prize distribution ceremony held on 13 September 2024. This event recognized the outstanding efforts of students who participated in various competitions and activities organized during the campaign. The ceremony was a moment of pride for the winners and served as an inspiration for everyone to continue contributing toward cleanliness and hygiene.
