Experiential Learning Excursion

An experiential learning excursion was organised for the students of Class IX to Hare Krishna Exports Pvt. Ltd. on 16 July 2024. The excursion to the diamond factory was an unforgettable dive into the dazzling world of gem crafting. At 9:40 am, the buses whisked away the excited students and their teachers from school, arriving at the diamond factory by 10:15 am, right on time for a sparkling adventure. The students were given a welcome drink and taken to an auditorium where they were given various information. They were told that the factory masterfully crafted 17 distinct diamond shapes, the founder and Chairman of Dholakia Foundation and Hari Krishna Exports Pvt. Ltd., was conferred with a Padma Shri award by the Government of India for his distinguished service in the field of Social Work in Gujarat etc. The students were then headed towards the factory visit and they were captivated by the journey of diamonds, starting as rough, unassuming stones and emerging as sparkling jewels. They watched in awe as master craftsmen, with unmatched precision and skill, cut and polished each diamond, turning them into breathtaking treasures. The factory buzzed with advanced technology, seamlessly merging age-old craftsmanship with modern innovation. This eye-opening adventure not only heightened the admiration for these precious gems but also underscored the importance of sustainability and ethics in global industries. The students reached back school at 12:15 pm. The excursion was a day filled with glittering insights and inspiration, leaving everyone mesmerized and enlightened!
