Annual Sports Meet 2024-25
The Annual Sports Day for Classes VI-IX and IX students held on 18 January 2025, was a remarkable event that celebrated the spirit of sportsmanship, teamwork and physical fitness. The school playground buzzed with energy and excitement as students, parents and teachers celebrated this grand occasion.
The day began with a spectacular opening ceremony filled with cultural vibrancy. Classes VI and VII students captivated the audience with a mesmerising musical performance. This was followed by the ceremonial torch lighting and an impressive march-past by students representing their respective houses. The synchronised movements and disciplined formations set the perfect tone for the day.
A highlight of the event was the special felicitation of Jiya Mehta (X-A) and Aarav Shah (X-B), who were honoured for achieving the prestigious Black Belt in Karate—a testament to their dedication and excellence in the field.
A series of thrilling athletic events followed, including the 100 m, 200 m, 400 m races and the highly anticipated relay races. Students participated enthusiastically, demonstrating their talent, determination and sportsmanship.
We were privileged to have our esteemed Principal, Ms. Archana Bhasin, grace the occasion. Her inspiring presence uplifted the spirits of all participants as she presented certificates and medals to the winners and recognised their hard work and achievements. Vayu House received the March Past Trophy, and Jivam House bagged the overall DPS Tapi Champion Trophy.
The event not only emphasized the importance of physical fitness but also strengthened the bonds within the school community. This memorable day will undoubtedly inspire our students to continue striving for excellence, both on and off the field.
